November 5, 2020, Highwood, IL – In recognition of its outstanding achievements in marketing and communication, Street Level Studio (SLS) received five 2020 MarCom Awards in one of the world’s largest, oldest, and most prestigious industry competitions. The full-service creative agency located in Highwood earned the honors for print and digital marketing initiatives as well as strategic communications on behalf of its clients.
From a field of thousands of international entries, Street Level Studio won four Platinum Awards for catalog design, tradeshow graphics and environments, and effective integrated print and digital campaigns. For premium home appliance brand Beko US, Inc., SLS developed a print and digital catalog highlighting the products’ modern designs and innovative technologies—an essential feature in helping sales reps show customers the Beko difference. In addition, SLS received a highly coveted Platinum Award for promoting a Highwood Chamber of Commerce initiative that supports local design-related businesses. Under the Highwood Area Design District (HDD) banner, the agency designed a Modern Luxury NS magazine print ad campaign and a digital HDD lookbook that showcased the work of businesses participating in Highwood Design Week 2020.
SLS also designed several colorful and realistic tradeshow room vignettes for Canon Solutions America, Large Format Solutions division, showcasing the capabilities and real-world applications of its large format printers. And the agency won another Platinum Award featuring one of these large format printers—the Canon Colorado 1650—for creating a campaign to introduce its innovative FLX-finish technology. Additionally, SLS earned a Gold Award for the 2020 print ad campaign created for client Canon Solutions America, Production Print Solutions division, featuring key innovative inkjet technologies.
The annual MarCom awards are sponsored and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals. Judges review entries looking for “companies and individuals whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry.”
