February 12, 2021, Highwood, IL – Lexie Markarian, director of new business development for Street Level Studio (SLS), was appointed to the Highland Park Chamber of Commerce’s board of directors for 2021. The move is part of the Chamber’s initiative to strengthen the Highland Park business community through educational and promotional activity.
“I’m honored to be involved,” Markarian says. “There are a ton of opportunities for businesses to be more active and recognized within the community, and the Highland Park Chamber of Commerce can play an important role in developing and supporting those opportunities.”
With more than two decades’ experience in marketing program creation and business development, Markarian joined Street Level Studio in early 2020 to support its business expansion efforts. Her expertise in both B2B and B2C markets and local volunteer and nonprofit work will be instrumental in advancing the Highland Park Chamber’s mission to help the city’s business community thrive.
“I’m excited to get started,” Markarian says. “I hope to contribute creative ideas that encourage growth through membership development and collaboration with other chambers.”
